Tequila Mockingbird is Joe Yancheson from the Great Lake State with his first solo effort, an acoustic rollercoaster, but not the fancy new steel behemoths, this is like an old rickety wooden coaster that you can't believe hasn't been torn down yet. There's danger lurking here. Joe's guitar riffs have you hanging on for dear life as his fingers fly around the fretboard, all the while belting out heartfelt, sometimes heartsick lyrics in a voice that will eventually, I think, become recognizable and familiar.

Joe is a force. This album rules.
